Red Carpet Premiere for Titanic in 3D

Yesterday we found out that the red carpet premiere for Titanic in 3D was going to be taking place at the Royal Albert Hall in South Kensington.  This is located just a few blocks from where I live.  So Hannah and I decided to go scope out the venue before the stars arrived.  They were still setting up and laying the red carpet when we went around 1:00.  We went to Hyde Park from there to enjoy a little sunshine before heading back to our place.  We grabbed another friend of ours and headed back to the Royal Albert Hall around 4:00.  The stars of the film were expected to show up between 5:15-6:15, so we wanted to make sure we were there plenty early to get a good spot along the red carpet.  While we were waiting, a news reporter came over to where we were standing and asked if they could film us singing "My Heart Will Go On."  A few girls around us didn't want to sing so we ended up standing right in front of the camera and singing.  It was so funny!  So I'm hoping I made the London news last night :)  The stars finally started arriving around 5:30.  Some of the celebrities in attendance included Director James Cameron, actresses  Kate Winslet and Frances Fisher, and actors Billy Zane and Bernard Hill.  The famous Leonardo DiCaprio was not in attendance, however.  It was so neat to be at a world movie premiere for such a famous movie.  Never thought I would get to see a red carpet event live and see so many celebrities at once.  Truly amazing!
